Kitesurf School Lo Stagnone, Sicily

Wonderful first kite surfing experience with Andrea from Kite me Up Sicily in Marsala. If you are looking for an incredible experience in a perfect location, I highly recommend Andrea. Whether you’re a beginner or a more advanced kite surfer, solo, in groups or with your family, or even if you just want to rent equipment at his school, do not hesitate. Andrea and his team are well trained to help you being autonomous in a couple of day. You will feel very secured thanks to their trainings and also thank to their waterproof headphones to perfectly teach you this wonderful spot and keep on eye on you when you ride in the lagoon by yourself. For the luckiest people, you might have a chance to go on an expedition by kite to discover the small island in front of the kite spot. On top of that, Andrea, his team, my friends and I became true friends, sharing beautiful moments, beers, restaurants and a lot of laughs. Thanks again Andrea for this amazing journey!

I spent 4 days with Andrea and Ethel and had an amazing time. Both instructors are very kind, funny and supportive. After my final lesson, I was able to kite up and down wind as well as driving with one hand! They helped me making a huge progress in a short time and gave me all the support to feel safe kiting on my own. If you are a beginner (like me), don't be afraid and book your own lessons. You won't regret it!

We had a great experience and time at Kite Me Up! Andrea is a great instructor, he gives very useful and clear tips. You can tell he is an experienced teacher and kiter. He also gave some good tips of things to see and do in the area, and was even willing to help us out with finding a place to stay. The conditions to learn how to kite at Lo Stagnone are amazing as well - flat, shallow water. Good vibes all around. Highly recommend Kite Me Up!

Great experience with KiteMeUp!. Andrea who owns the business is a very skilled and humble instructor. He has also been very helpful in finding accommodation as well as giving up-front information about the area which was great. Andrea is fluent in Italian, French and English which is making communication easy (will tackle German next, right ?😉) After some rather frustrating experiences in Fuerteventura and Egypt, Andrea helped me in just two days to complete my first long runs and even transitions within two days. The equipment he‘s using (e.g. O-Zone Kites) is in good condition and very applicable for beginners. During classes the communication is managed via headset which is a big plus as well. The spot itself is perfect for learning but also for advanced riders - shallow water, save as you are able to stand literally everywhere. Recommend to wear long sleeve though to avoid itchy marks caused by anemones in the water. I can absolutely recommend KiteMeUp! and I again would like to thank Andrea for the great time in Lo Stagnone🤙🏼

It was my dream for nearly a year to kite. Initially I was thinking of doing it more locally, but then I thought why not the beautiful Sicilia. I googled for schools, found Kite Me Up and right away felt this positive vibe about it. Andrea was super helpful from the very beginning with finding me a great place to stay and starting the classes all at the pretty much last minute request on my side and in high season. It's a small school which it's absolutely perfect because you can get so much more, a very individual approach, depending on your needs, flexibility, time and space. Needless to say he is a perfect teacher and in just a few days taught me so much I was not expecting actually to be possible. But to me what was really making a difference was that Kite Me Up it's not just a school, it's the whole experience, the connection, the love for kiting, long conversation after classes, hanging out with a cold beer or dinner at MammaCollette. Andrea is one of those amazing people who can make your time there unforgettable. You will not want to leave;). I know I'll be back and I can't wait. Thank you for making my dream come true and for so much more. You truly are the best :)

Kite Me Up was fantastic. I had advanced lessons and we went on a safari through the Stagnone together which was absolutely great. We went to see salinas and made a tour around an island, the water was butterfat all day long. Smiles all the way and I improved my kiting a lot. The spot and the crew was fantastic. I recommend 100%. 🌬🌬🌬 🤙🤙🤙

Andrea is a fantastic kite instructor. After a few lessons my partner and I were able to go up and down the lagoon. He has super patience and we had a lot of fun together during the lessons. He gives you a safe feeling from the beginning with the first steps and uses the individual lessons very effectively. We had a great time with him and are happy that we joined his school! After we had our individual lessons with him, he helped us with a very detailed advice on buying our first kite equipment. It is his passion to inspire people about this incredibly great sport! :)

Could not recommend it more. If you ar looking for available, kind, safe, and skilful instructors, you won't go wrong with Kite Me Up. From the wonderful vibe of the instructors (Andrea and Ethel) to their teaching skills, this was the right place to get my kitesurfing life started. I learned a lot in very short time, and was riding after 2.5 hours of lessons, thanks to their patience and clear + useful instructions. Dear Ethel and Andrea, I will certainly return for more trainning with you! Gratitude for finding such a special school to learn kitesurfing!

Andrea is a great teacher, I learnt a lot in a few days thanks to his patience, pedagogy and the tips he gave me. I would definitely recommend his school to anyone who wants to learn kite surf or improve his skills. Moreover the kite spot is amazing, clean water and a lot to discover and visit in the surroundings :)

This kitesurfing school is outstanding at the spot. I had a few private lessons with Andrea, who is the owner. It was very awesome, because he taught me some new tricks I wanted to learn and also gently corrected me in some basics (like stance). For rental, I got very nice kites and boards that fit with the conditions - which were, by the way, excellent (5 days rental = 5 days appropriate wind = credits to Lo Stagnone :)) I had a lot fun and very great sessions. I can highly recommend this school and this spot and will definitely come back. :)

I took the Zero to Hero Course and in 8 hours (instead of 9!) I managed riding upwind. Kite me up was real fair and only charged me the 8 hs. They teach really logically, and explain how things work. I like it, because I am the first to ask for the Why? At the end, we even did a little video analysis and I found it real useful, to see myself, my position on the board, etc. Really improved my skills by talking through the moves. Also, the school's spot is less crowded with other kitesurfers, it's not muddy, and I can easily walk in the Lagoon. Overall, I'd like to recommend the guys at Kite Me Up, because they really want people to have an amazing experience and do their part for it.

We were a group of four guys, absolute beginners and standing on the board after 2-3 days. Andrea and his instructors Anna and Alessandro topped our very expectations. All of them are incredible, experienced instructors. They were extremely flexible regarding our needs, schedules and the weather conditions. The location of the school is absolute premium. Very good communication. We really had an unforgettable time there, many thanks especially to Andrea, such a great guy. Definetly recommend!
